Senior Scala Developer at Agile Resources & Access Data

Scala Developer

We’re looking for a Scala Developer to join a high-impact engineering team building scalable, cloud-native systems. You’ll work across modern DevOps pipelines, NoSQL data stores, and distributed microservices while contributing to next-gen APIs and data-intensive applications.

Here's what our ideal candidate has:

6+ years of Scala Development experience

Here's what you'll be doing:

Building robust, high-performance backend services using Scala
Developing and optimizing microservices deployed on Kubernetes in AWS
Working with MongoDB or other NoSQL databases to handle flexible, large-scale data
Containerizing applications using Docker, and managing deployments with Helm, Istio, or Argo
Monitoring and troubleshooting systems using tools like Datadog or Splunk
Integrating CI/CD pipelines with tools such as Jenkins or GitLab
Contributing to and maintaining API documentation using Swagger (OpenAPI)
Implementing and tuning caching layers using Memcached, Kafka, or similar technologies
