We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Data Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong SQL skills, experience working with various data analysis tools, and a passion for deriving value from data. This is a remote role open to candidates across the U.S.

Key Responsibilities

Functional Expertise

Analyze and explore diverse datasets to identify relevant inputs that support product development and decision-making.
Interpret complex datasets to extract meaningful insights, converting data into information, and ultimately, into actionable intelligence.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, clients, and data providers to gather and refine data requirements.
Demonstrate a solid understanding of data exchange mechanisms and systems integration; experience in data integration projects is a strong advantage.
Create interpretive reports, dashboards, and presentations using visualization tools such as PowerPoint or Tableau to effectively communicate findings.
Contribute to discussions involving both technical and functional aspects, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Adhere to SDLC and Agile methodologies in a distributed team environment.
Proactively suggest enhancements and identify opportunities for data enrichment and process improvement.
Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with internal and external stakeholders.

Technical Expertise

Proficient in SQL with a strong understanding of database design, normalization, and query optimization.
Hands-on experience with data mining, data mapping, and data clustering techniques.
Experience with BI and ETL tools such as Tableau and SSIS.
Proficient in Python, with familiarity in relevant libraries such as Pandas and NumPy. THIS IS ALL NICE TO HAVE!!!!
Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including macros, pivot tables, and complex formulas.
