Senior Accounting Manager

Our client in the Fintech industry is looking for a Senior Accounting Manager to join their team!

Location: This role will have a hybrid schedule of 3 days onsite in Atlanta, GA and 2 days of remote work each week.

Compensation: $70/hour W2

Here's what you'll be doing:

Leading the general ledger function, month-end close, and provide key financial analysis for management.
Ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial data.
Leading month-end/year-end close process.
Performing and reviewing account reconciliations (bank, accruals, etc)
Preparing and posting complex journal entries (including adjusting entries).
Conducting in-depth analysis of financial accounts (P&L and Balance Sheet) and investigate variances.
Supporting financial reporting and audit preparation.

Here is what our ideal candidate has:

7+ years of progressive accounting experience.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and CPA certification.
Expertise in general ledger, account analysis, and GAAP/IFRS.
Proficiency with major ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and advanced Excel.
High attention to detail, exceptional analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication, both written and verbal.
Technical accounting experience is a plus.
